Sherry Herron
Care Coordinator
Sherry is a registered nurse with more than 25 years of experience caring for people of all ages. Her most recent experience has been in homecare where she was dedicated to helping clients receive optimal care in their own homes, meeting their unique needs and overcoming challenges.
Sherry’s first introduction to Silver Lining was four years ago when she discovered their services and partnered with them in providing exceptional and compassionate care for her mother who was progressing through the difficult stages of dementia. The team of caregivers became an “extension of our family”, bringing joy and laughter into the home and creating purpose in each day.
Sherry’s heart is also to serve! Her others-focused nature is evident in her interactions with those she meets. She loves being with people, especially her family! Sunday dinners and camping in summer are highlights for her! Sherry relies on her faith in every area of life and is committed to loving her family, serving her church, and caring for people!

Our Story
This journey eventually led us to the Family Managed Care program available through the Regional Health Authority. We hired staff and developed an amazing team of caregivers that feels like part of our family. They administer medications and take care of housekeeping, grocery shopping, blood work appointments, meal prep, and outings. Seeing the way they love and care for our parents is such a huge blessing to us.
Three years later, Silver Lining Care was born to provide much needed services for Steinbach and Southern Manitoba. Our faith in God is a legacy that our parents have passed on to us and we want to serve Him and our community in this way.
We are family. Caring for our community by bringing hope, life, and joy to your home.
